There is no question that the 2006 Cadillac XLR-V set a new benchmark in the Ultra-luxury class of high performance roadsters in power, performance, and personal amenities. There were only a total of 1147 XLR-V’s produced in 2006 and only 228 of them were made in this stunning Infrared with Shale interior combination. We recently acquired this amazing Supercharged Cadillac from a gentleman in North Carolina who was the second owner. He was a true car enthusiast and the XLR V was on his bucket list of cars to own so he purchased it from the original owner in 2010 when it had 22,000 miles on it. He put just over 9000 miles on it in the 5 years he owned it and it was strictly a sunny day cruiser. Always stored in his climate controlled garage and stored away on a lift during the winter months. While we are a classic car dealer we always keep our eyes open for modern specialty vehicles that have been meticulously cared for. This XLR-V is a special class all its own and we recognize that. I will first give you a walk around photo tour of the sleek body of this rare Infrared ( sometimes referred to as Red Jewel ) ’06 XLR V. The bold body lines of these XLR-V’s clearly show the influence the Stealth Fighter planes had on the designer of this car. The body on this car is truly in exceptional condition and is essentially flawless with the exception of a couple of extremely tiny rock chips I noticed on the hood. Of course the car has a clean Auto Check report and has never been involved in any accidents and has not had any paintwork done to it. The car genuinely looks showroom fresh from top to bottom. I looked in the usual spots such as under the front nose of the car for minor scrapes that are typical and found nothing…it is exceptional!!! Behind the headrests a custom windscreen was installed that illuminates when the brakes are pressed….a really nice touch! I believe this cars condition will satisfy even the pickiest of buyers! The 6-speed automatic used is one of the most technologically advanced transmissions in the industry. Perfromance tuned chasissystems include larger brakes, magnetic ride comfort, large front stabilizer bar and the addition of a rear stabilizer bar,larger wheels and tires and higher capacity fuel pump. Needless to say Cadillac implemented some amazing engineering int this high performance luxury roadster.With just under 31,100 miles on it this V drives like new! Wheels look great with no curb rash and the Pirelli Run Flat tires are practically brand new. We have the original owners manuals, navigation disc and both smart key fobs.
