Roy Podolin and Kevin Kim took their passion for cars and combined 45 years of Automobile and Retail business experience and launched Cloud 9 Classics, LLC. The goal and mission was simple: Build a business that would go over and beyond the ordinary car buying experience and focus on helping other car enthusiasts find their dream car, whether it is a classic, muscle or specialty vehicle.
Roy Podolin
Roy’s passion for cars was sparked by his father who enjoy a variety of cars and took Roy to the car shows at a young age. Starting at age 12 Roy would scour the Sunday newspaper auto classifieds and circle car ads that looked like great cars or great deals. Sundays were spent driving around looking at cars and occasionally buying a few that the family would drive and enjoy and eventually sell to move on to another fun car. When Roy turned 16 he saved up enough money to buy his first car, a 1966 Ford Mustang Coupe. He owned that car for about a year before selling at a small profit and buying another 1966 Mustang. After graduating College Roy worked for a major retailer before launching his own retail operation. Married with 3 daughters, Roy eventually moved to Atlanta, GA and bought a 1969 Chevelle SS to enjoy with his kids. About 18 months later he sold the Chevelle and bought a 1969 Mustang Convertible…these cars were his passion and he decided to turn this passion into a business. Over the next few years, Roy bought and sold over 50 classic and muscle cars all over the world! The rare opportunity to combine one’s passion with his business is what convinced Roy to his hobby to the next level and launch Cloud 9 Classics in 2010.
Kevin Kim
Kevin grew up in the Atlanta , GA area and after graduating from Oglethorpe University, went to Launch the Lexus Division of Toyota in the Southern Region. During the 15 years with Lexus, Kevin serviced a network of dealerships to help them grow their business and developed a passion for the Car business. He later went to start a dealership called North Point Motors in Roswell, GA and worked with Hyundai Motor America. His Entrepreneurial spirit became stronger and stronger during this time and with his operational background, partnered with Roy to start Cloud 9 Classics.

Kevin and Roy discussed combining their skills, passion, and dedication to servicing the customer in a business that they knew they would thoroughly enjoy. Together, they have launched Cloud 9 Classics, LLC and look forward to helping car enthusiasts all over the world to Drive the Dream!
